I wish it had another 4 cylinders and a horse on the front. *sigh*, should've just stepped up on my purchase.

Ok so I listed my one wish and didn't want to double dip... But since you said it, I will echo this a million times over. The interior rattles are ridiculous. I know the focus is an "econo" car, but that's no excuse for the clear lack of refinement and quality control. Yes, I am legitimately pissed about this.

Hey, I owned a 2010 Honda Insight for 3 years. Wanna talk rattles? Poor quality control? No apparent R&D , is in, did anyone actually live with the car for like a week before it was released on the public? Loud road noise, creaky suspension, rough ride, I could go on and on. The Focus is sooooooo nice!

To all the guys talking about their tuxedo black paint, I'm in Detroit metro, where we are only a few inches away from breaking our snow record set in the 1800s. We had a warmer day today (over 32F), so I took my car to the coin-operated wash and blasted it with the soap spray (not using the brush). It got a lot of the salt and dirt off, and made it look halfway decent. Enough to get by and make the car look better than most others on the road, with $3 and 5 minutes.

That being said, I wish my car came with a force field.

Interior rattles. It's annoying. I only notice it when the radio isn't cranked loud, which is not very often. But it just annoys me because this car is refined in so many other ways.

And maybe a bigger gas tank capacity..although my commute is no longer 70 miles a day, more like 20. If I had to drive a long distance daily it would be a bigger annoyance.

It's just that it shows every spec of dust and every nick so easily. I washed mine today and it's spotless, except for the two glaring rock chips on the hood. They taunt me with how easily visible they are.

Sixth gear for the manual and better cup holders...oh yeah..I am old-school...a vent setting on the HVAC. All the power/handling issues could have been addressed if I bought an ST.

I know the thread only asked for 1 thing but just in case Ford is paying attention I would like to suggest a few improvements:
1. I also suggest a 6th gear for manual.
2. A decent automatic trans. (like the 6 speed in my 2014 Mazda 3). Actually this should be no 1.
3. Fix the rattles in the instrument cluster.
4. Better quality carpet (this stuff is cheap junk).
5. Stop making cars with crappy sound systems that are so difficult for the owners to upgrade with a good aftermarket system.
6. How about a plastic replacement for that flimsy felt cover under the engine.

Don't get me wrong though, I love my 5 speed Focus! Could not have done better for under $16k.
