For $100.00 Cheaper I'd go this route - http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/4352423817.html It's got 123K on it but it's in better shape IMO.

Yea it's not an EAP but it is a rare combination with a Silver exterior and blue interior, I haven't seen too many with that combo. It's usually Silver and red interior when I come across them.

Troy.

That one does look really clean. Usually those red or blue seats are gross looking and dirty.

I'll go look at it for you. The eap one, the silver one has been on there a while. Send me your contact info.

I see no reason but to leave the EAP alone, along with the front bumper did anyone notice the badge is on the wrong side of the car? I would think it has been resprayed. Not that any of that is really that bad, but you figure wrong bumper and a timing best you might as well just deduct $1500 from a good on and go from there, in this case your look at $6-$7 for a clean one. I wouldn't pay more than $5500 for it if you really want it.

The silver one listed would be much more desired especially if you need it every day.

A: It seems to be clean and well taken care of so $5700 isn't a bad price
B: Normal color so nobody will notice you much
C: Rims and suspension, most of these cars need it past 100k miles as the ride is defiantly not the smoothest anymore, You can always trade or sell those rims if you want a stock look.
D: Seats, people underestimate cloth seats. Point is they rule because leather is burns and sticks when its hot and when its cold is like sitting on an icecube (really cold and hard).

Otherwise: Same performance out of the motor/trans brakes ect.

Get the VIN and do a CarFax, or equivalent. It's not a guarantee, but at least will tell you where it has been, how many owners, and perhaps has info on the mismatched bumper cover.
Good luck.

Thinking about getting something a little easier to repair and no premium gas. How does this look?

Looks like the first car may have been in an accident that just damaged the bumper and grill. Maybe a truck hitch or something. I only say this because the lights appear to be undamaged.

just asked if it (the 2005 ST) had ever been wrecked or has a salvage title, this is what they said

"Clear title Im second owner prevous owner did have minor accident in early 2010 had hood replaced match great."

So I said, "Cool, any issues of note? Shifts good, drives straight? "

They replied, "Clear drive every day but selling as is."

ST's aren't that common, the 2.3L is a GREAT engine. However you can get an 03-04 ZX3/ZX5 or sedan with the 2.3L in it as well for cheaper, I'd test drive that ST and do a carfax/autocheck on it though.
