I just think the entire "service dept" at this deler is incompetent, first time it took four days to replace two seals and a gasket that they had in stock. It also takes them an hour and half to change oil.

fishin-nole,

I understand your frustrations. As I explained, I'm unable to overturn the decisions made by your CSM. Please get in touch with them to discuss the offer that was made.

Also, once you retain the services of an attorney, I will be unable to assist.

Hi '13Focus91,

I sent you a PM yesterday offering my assistance. Did you receive it?

Todd

The xplan that was offered will not do anything but, put her upside down. As far as you helping there has been none although I think you could kick this up the ladder over the cs rep "you" can't override. I'm not the only one that has these problems with this junk transmission. The cs rep. said that Ford plans to use this junk until 2019. I see a lot of LL suits against Ford over this dangerous to drive transmission. Is it going to take numerous injuries and deaths to get this taken care of.

They replaced a senor in mine, it seems to shift fine for now. If it starts again I'm going to see a lemon law attorney.

The previous problems with the DCT are well understood. It makes perfect sense that many people had issues with theirs.

However, it's better for you not to look back but rather you should consider what could or should be done now.
A clear understanding of everything will be to your advantage.

From what you described, your transmission does not operate normally (which should be obvious as so many people are happy with theirs).
It sounds like you think that it is operating normally and that you are absolving the dealer in this matter.
If that is the case, you will never get your problem resolved.

Hi fishin-nole,

Your regional customer service manager remains your point of contact because they have the resources to work directly with your dealer. My role on the forum is limited in the sense that I act as the intermediary between you and your CSM.

If you'd prefer to speak with someone by phone (who is able to refer you to your CSM as well), please contact our Customer Relationship Center at 1-800-392-3673.

I'm glad your Focus is up and running again!

Have a great weekend.

If he try's to talk to anyone it will take a week and a half for them to call if they aren't there.

I don't know how long this POS will run again. But if it starts acting up again I'm going to see an attorney.

Understood. If you find you have questions in the future, let me know.

I don't see how they let these things keep rolling off the line with known issues. What's it going to take someone getting seriously hurt or killed to get Ford to address the issues?

I'm a fourth generation Ford owner and this car has left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm leery on buying a Ford product ever again.

Have you never seen Fight Club?

P.S. - I'm with you 100% but I've learned not to express it here, certain members will call you out for being upset with your car, because you should know it's a perfect machine and you should be happy no matter what you're experiencing.
