Cooper Zeon RS3A..CR has reccomends them

In the latest CR car issue they have the Cooper Zeon RS3A listed as one of the ultra high performance all season tires they recommend. I really like mine (came stock on my 2013 SE HB with 201a) and I will be getting them again next time. Nice ride, quiet, good cornering.

I loved them too, although I only had them for a little while since I sold my stock wheels/tires for a set of ST wheels . Definitely getting them when I need tires again.

I had these tires on my 2000 maxima before I picked up my '13 focus. I definitely was pleased with their performance both dry and wet/snow.

I just replaced the OE Conti with the Cooper RS3-A yesterday. The Conti had 25000 miles on them. I was thinking of getting the Pirelli P Zero Nero AS but I was able to get 4 for $423 including the TPMS rebuild. After the initial drive, I like them much better than the Conti. They are quieter and actually grip the road.

After living with the Cooper Zeon's for 1.5 months, I can say I am loving them. They really grip the road and I can hit curves at speed. I have confidence in them when I corner. Also when it has been wet, there is no slipping on the wet roads.

I have to agreed with you on the RS3-A tires, I swapped my wheels and tires after 1000 miles. An it's Incredible much aggressive the handling has become. My next stop is the Handling package from fordracing.com! 😈

And what other tires did they compare them to? Or test against?

I like mine. I mean they are no pilot sports or anything but grip is great dry and wet. Ride is soft too. My Michelins made me sore from the roughness. I do notice more sidewall flex but that's expected with all seasons. Way better than conti dws in my opinion. Those flex and don't grip well. I do think I've lost mpg though. I've seen this in reviews but my driving habits changed with a move so hard to tell. Can't beat the price either...

I hated them on my wife's 2010 SES. Bought from Discount Tire for $500 flat out the door. Wore out in 13,000 miles even with the 40,000 mile warranty. Needless to say Discount Tire gave us back $310 and bought a better tire.
