DSI, opening RPM

If you had a turbo, wouldn't be better if the DSI operated before 5000 RPM? I was thinking around 3300 - 3500. Anyone tried this yet??? Just curious

I didnt think you could change it for so low. But I dont know very much about the DSI system besides how it works.

This is probably more related to forced induction chat though...
Oh yeah!

it'll depend on who's tuning the car. if it showed gains to open it at such a low rpm, then I'm sure whoever tunes your car will be able to set it that low

yeah that does make sense i think they person tuning it would tune it that low so u won't get any turbo lag or anything of the sort

can you set it to open lower? Seems like it would benefit anyways even you dont have a turbo, like having them open at like 4500 or 5000 or so would help. I donno, just a thought.

Most tuners are setting the DSI opening point a bit lower in the RPMs, lowest I have seen personally is 4600rpm. I didnt notice much difference, honestly.

Moving to "Forced Induction Chat".....
(actually, I already did yesterday, but as we all know, there were a few problems)
Thank you Tom for getting us back up again.
