kind of makes me jealous, that 2.5L skyactiv is a monster 184hp/185ft.q :D, but it's unfortunately reflective in the price also

yeah it would be nice to have that kind of power stock, that way once we did all the bolton's we would be pushing over 200. 185 is about what we can expect out of our's with tune, intake and exhaust.

yeah i saw the link you were talking about where it shows 185 hp. right beneath that is a link for specs and if you click that it show it has a 2.0 155 HP so there article has conflicting stats haha. i'll assume the 7.2 is for the 185hpm, that makes more sense.

i'm a bit of a research nut, i spent 2 months researching every forum, every link , performance review on the mazda. i wasn't even considering the focus

One day i just decided to test drive the Focus, wasn't even on my list. I was sold immediately.

i felt like what seemed to be quicker acceleration than the mazda, but was in disbelief at the time, because i knew it made less power

i started looking at baseline dyno sheets from both cars, then things started to clear up

the Focus makes at the wheels nearly identical power of the mazda3 2.5 which is really suprising

the dyno never lies :D, i probably should of started my research there lol

Well that's good to know, you are right about the price. the mazda they tested was 30,000! thats nuts, i would much rather take the focus with a little bit less power.
