Just as a side note I think they used the same harness in all '05's. I have the non-audiophile 6cd player, and it still has the remote turn on wire, and also some little harness which either hooks up to the audiophile or blaupunkt, its just not hooked to anything in mine.

2005 single-CD MP3 headunit

I've spent the last hour searching for info in the Forums - how can one tell which headunit they have? I've got a 2005 Ford Focus SE XZ3, with a single-CD, MP3 headunit. Audiophile package was NOT on my window sticker, so I'm assuming I don't have such (It also didn't come with a sub - that's what I'm trying to do). I keep seeing Sony and Blaupunkt mentioned - but can't find any mention of how to tell one from the other. Does anyone know how to tell which one I have, please?

Check out this THREAD. It seams to me that the Audiophile has the sub. Plus you may want to do a search and if you don't find out what you need try posting a new thread.
