A car nut here too, since my very first car, a 76 Toyota truck all the way up to this one, and speaking of which, I plan on getting and doing some mods to this car as soon as spring hits, which it apparently has already here.

My focus made me a car nut, my two previous cars were a 98 expedition and a 05 envoy xuv both were little fun to drive but I was still passionate about cars then.. but my focus changed everything because it was my first car I was able to choose.

My Focus didn't make me a car nut, but it does make me appreciate how great the MK3 Focus is. I've always been a car nut.

I''ve previously owned DSM's ('90 Talon TSI AWD, '97 Talon TSI FWD, '99 Eclipse GSX) and Honda's ('88 Accord, '02 Civic, '94 Accord, '98 Prelude, '03 Accord 6-speed). The DSMs were awesome cars and tons of fun to drive but I am over the constant maintenance of them.

I'd say yes - this is my first new car. I drove a 2002 Ford Escape before this (which was actually my parents' car) but that was just a car.

But my Focus is my baby. (Note: I don't have any kids yet.) My friends think I'm crazy/obsessed because I like keeping it clean and I find washing it myself relaxing. I dunno... I enjoy it, plus sometime they get free washes?

I can't wait until it gets warmer so that I can polish/detail my car! I also have some things I want to do like grease my sway bar bushings, change my coolant, maybe fix some rattles, and adjust my rear camber (I still think I have a bad bearing)

Okay, maybe I am a little crazy...

Always been into cars, perhaps a bit too much. I've lost track of the # of cars I've had since I started driving. Just passed 2 years with the Focus and I'm hoping to keep it until it's paid off, which would be a first for me.

My inclination toward modding has gotten more conservative as I've gotten older (30 now) and my Focus reflects that. I mostly stick to OEM or very factory-appearing changes rather than chasing hp or trying to create a show car.

That's pretty much me too, except maybe a little older, so that might explain why I'm taking my time with this car.

I was always more of a motorcycle nut than a car nut until I got the 2012 Focus. But the Focus handles so well and actually gets better gas mileage than some bikes I've owned that it turned me into a Focus nut. I too seem to go overboard in the appearance department but I can't help myself the way the Race Red color glows in the sun.

I've always somewhat been into cars, but when i got my MK3 is when i really went crazy.
I'm guessing it's somewhat because this is the first car i can really call my own because it didn't have someone else's vibe.

anyway yea, she made me crazy lol

You all must be 12 yrs. old. This is not a car that will make you a car nut. A Cobra, 5.0 Mustang, or a ST will. A normal Focus is a girly car. My Lightning will make you a truck nut!!
