Bluetooth/sync resetting - more info please

The other day I was going through different threads for new users that talk about common issues...

One of them was if your sync or Bluetooth isn't working well, to pull a fuse. Can anyone point me to a procedure or is it really just as simple as pulling a fuse? If so, which one?

I have a 2009 SES with sync and my issue is the phone adds fine and works with sync (dialing, phone list, everything), but then it disconnects it after around 5 minutes.

Related question. I can't stream music through sync. Is there a way to update the sync software?

Thanks all.

Yes just pull the fuse. Sync drives me up a wall because if I leave my phone plugged in while I pump gas/get mail/ect. the damn thing quits working and I have to pull the fuse.

To stream music go to system settings -- Bluetooth settings -- add device -- add your device --- exit menu -- select source -- Bluetooth audio

13, pull panel under steering wheel, remove fuse box cover, grab plastic-tweezers that are provided, pull fuse 13, or fourth one down on the row all the way to the right. Start car and give it 5 minutes or so for sync to come back on.
