No, just disconnect the battery and the computer will relearn everything and adjust to the increase in airflow. It does help to have a custom tune tho to get the most out of it...

Thanks. The UDP kit is lighter than stock and it reduces the parasitic drag on the engine thus making it easier for the engine to rotate. Theoreticly this improves throttle respose and increases horsepower and torque (not by much). The UDP combined with the 67mm TB and CAI makes the throttle response super snapy and makes the car a blast to drive.

You have one of the nicest SVT engine bays I've seen. Looks great. Hope the mods work out great. I got the throttle body awhile back and loved it.

Thanks man, I have put a lot of time into making it as clean as it is. Im waiting till I change my timing belt then im gonna paint my valve cover. It needs to be redone, was thinking maybe a gun metal grey or doing it black, red and silver/grey camo... So far im really pleased with the new mods. I think some coilovers are next on my list after I get my tuner/tune. The eibah sportlines I have are super nice but I need to be LOWER! Haha...

I went from sportlines to the FRPP suspension and springs that Massive had on sale back in November/December. I coupled it with poly bushings all around and couldn't be happier. My wheel arch to tire gaps are at about an inch all around and the ride is firm without being harsh. As for the valve cover I'd think that gunmetal would be killer. Not too bright like the stock silver but not too dark like black would be.

Since this has turned more into a build thread I just went ahead and moved this to "Ford Focus Builds & General Showroom".

Great setup… looking VERY nice… I had a CFM TB on my last SVT, it's a really great mod, it really makes the response SO much better.

That engine bay is CLEAN! Looks great, glad to see you take SO much time in effort in not just power/performance mods, but in getting it as clean and presentable as it can be! PERFECT job all around!

Thanks bro! Im glad everyone likes how its comin along. Its the little details that count just as much as the big ones. I just got vinyl cap overlays for the engine that helps clean it up a lot too. One for the oil cap, coolant overflow cap and powersteering cap. Also got some eyelids too, every paycheck I get something for my svt, keeps me occupied and happy. Makes the car happy too... TFB designes is a great custom graphic company and they have sooooo much stuff for our foci. I deff recommend checking them out. I have some more pics of the overlays close up and the eyelids, I will try to post some more pics tomorrow.
