I was hoping someone would post about this CAI.. AEM seems like the only one that would have a significant difference in intake air temp compared to all others.

Here is a shot of mine, almost looks stock to me but more sporty.

When I removed the triangle while installing the intake I happened to notice the small piece that clipped on to the bottom portion of the material. I didn't break any tabs, just used a small pick and flat head and moved the tabs around. The small piece came right off and I can put it back on in case I need to, which might never happen.

Looks good man! Would you mind taking some pics of the intake installed? I know there's a YouTube video but I think an enthusiast would get some better shots. The more angles the better! :)

You got it! I'll take a video and some photos of mine. I also put a different filter on mine which gave it a slightly different growl that I get tickled by :)

Looks worse up close lol but not too shabby to get cold air to the new mission mod or AEM, been driving it like that for over 6 months with ZERO problems of water getting in. But for safety I have a hydrophobic Injen prefilter and another paper prefilter on the base of the newmission mod where it feeds Into the box!
Looks pretty good to me; I'm still debating a filter wrap on mine, but it doesn't rain much here and there are no crazy puddles. But it would be some peace of mind.

Well my lady's car has a bad wheel bearing and swaybar end link bushings so she took my car this morning and I gotta work on hers again today. I'll try to have some photo's by the end of the day!

Thanks! I ran with one for a couple months and I live in New Mexico... Can't get much drier lol! But I did the prefilter mainly for the dirt and the piece of mind too! That AEM intake is so CLEAN 👍
