Thanks for pointing these out! Just ordered a set of these for fog lamps and a buck up set up Phillips for headlights. Currently running Sylvania zxe as headlights and they've been great for almost 2 years.

The more white/blue a bulb is, the more glare you will get. The more yellow the light is, the less glare you will get.

I use the Sylvania Ultra bulbs on both cars. My previous Brand X vehicle with DRL's only got about 8 months from the bulbs as they were on all the time. Brand Y vehicle has no DRL's and I get about 1-1/2 to 2 years with them. My wife really likes them in her SUV. Thinking maybe to try in Focus.

I've had no name 4300K H9 bulbs installed in mine for over a year and been pleased with them, though I would agree that they will not be near a full HID system WITH projectors. This is what I want to do eventually (next few months hopefully).

cheapo Osram H9s from the local auto parts store and they are super bright. I had to spend a while filing the tabs to make them fit into the H11 harness though.

The beam pattern looks just like H11s too, no issues.

Any of you guys with H9s have issues with overheating or scorching of the reflectors? I remember seeing a thread where someone who put in H9s noticed discoloration of the reflector because of the higher heat.
