U have a svt correct? If so ur motor with correct tuning can get you close to 300 and being fwd thats plenty for a street car and it really is fun to drive much more then that gets kinda ridiculous i tuned mine to a lil over 300 on my built motor and it was a blast now were trying to go forward and its a pain so many more factors and things that have to be put into play ! But if u do plan on turboing ur car... Only thing im gonna tell u is do everything right the first time dont skip corners and try to save money these cars like to go boom so ur tune is just as important as ur install

I was thinking about maybe getting a turbo from a local wrecking yard. No intercooler for now.

Its the same as the other ebay turbos just 'branded'.I remember that you have to put a restrictor in the oil return line on these chinese turbos or else the turbo gets starved for oil and wipes the bearings.

And those 'kits' are a joke just a bunch of crap thrown into a box the only thing good would be the turbo, intercooler @ piping, and the manifold if its cast iron.

OK that solves that. As much as I would like to, I can't afford 1000 just for a turbo. I'm looking at 2 to 300 for a garrett or turbonetics. Used is OK. Rebuilt is OK.
