Mofo- LOL, I'm set on the Quaife because that's the one I've wanted and still want. Please don't make it harder for me to decide because when I want something and someone says, "Why not get the torsen". It makes it hard, because I'll go back and fourth from one product to the other.

Awebb- Thanks, I'll be sure to keep you guys posted on new information. If things go good, I'm hoping to start after christmas or by January atleast.

zx3matt>> I know that the focus can get alot of it's power from the intake manifold, I'm just not sure what kind of intake manifold I'm gonna go with, most likely it will be the Ford Racing one. The thing with the MAF is this....(read the part in bold)

Features & Benefits of the Pectel plug and play kit

* Pectel unit assumes 100% control of fuel and ignition parameters including rev limits
* Stock ECU remains connected to allow normal dash & auxiliary functions
* Eliminates stock mass air flow meter and uses MAP or TPS inputs
* Ability to control voltage regulated pump on Focus returnless fuel system
* Can be switched back to stock ECU control in 5 minutes (following initial installation of 2 hrs)
* PC serial link for real time calibration changes & data downloads
* User configurable Data Logging on all engine channels
* Diagnostic / errors window for engine sensor inputs
* Digital dash display interface capability built in
* Barometric pressure and battery voltage sensors fitted internally

and instead of comp cams, I'll be getting custom camshafts so they are matched to the performance I want. I'll have to go over with Walter on that though.
The Pectel is sweet. Sorry, but I hadn't read about the Pected before I posted my MAF stuff. Me bad...

Good luck!!!

Update

Aight, Walter Marcy has emailed me back with the pricing of the longblock. This is what he said in the email.
You would be looking at $4700 for the complete long block plus freight, and tax if you live in California. You would need only to install your intake manifold, header, flywheel and clutch, valve cover, and front timing belt cover. This engine can be configured for between 160 and 190hp at the tires depending on your choice of peripheral parts. If you have plans to exceed the 175whp mark, you will need competent tuning, and you will find the Pectel T2 Focus system to be of significant benefit, if it is properly tuned. All told, the package would be sound and perform very well for quite some time anywhere in that range.

thats alot of friggin money!!

4700 :o ouch

just my 2 cents. get the ford racing head, skip the the high comp pistons, u can deck the head the reach the same compression ratio and make the same power, ditch the pectel, wont help at all for you, stand alone are more for turbo set ups.

that guy sounds like he is trying to make some cash telling u to get a pectel to make 175 whp. get a custom burned diablo delta chip or get a fordchipreflash on the dyno.

Actually Euro, the Pectel isn't just for turbo set ups. It can also be used for all motor. It's so you can see what your engine is doing and shit. The part he said about the Pectel helping me get past the 175whp mark is because if the Pectel is tuned right, it will help with more power because you can control the injectors, and ect. Anyways, I'm going to get the Marcy Motorsport "Full Competion Head". It recieves more modifications to improve power. Then later I'll get their short block with the 10.0:1 compression ratio. But for now as the project goes, I'll get the FC race header and flex pipe, marcy motorsport "full competion head" and some other mods.

Hmm, your question is kinda confusing because it doesn't sound like a direct question but if your asking me how much am I going to spend to hit 175whp. The answer is this, I'm willing to spend as much money as it takes to get past the 200whp mark, 175whp isn't what I'm going for. I don't wanna hear anything about not being able to get past the 200whp mark, because if FC can do it N/A, then I'm sure I could. So whatever it takes, I'll do it.
