radio installation problem

Hi, am new here but I need help. Just got my 2004 ford focus lx and decided to change my radio, have connected all the wires but the radio wont power up. Checked the fuse, and that is okat don't know what to fo anymore.

Recheck all wiring. Primarily, make sure you have a good ground and both the power wire (usually yellow) and the Acc wire (usually red) are connected to the proper wires on the car.

If that doesn't work, test both the Power and Acc wires on the car to make sure they are getting power to them. The Power should always be live while the Acc should only be live when the key is on.

There might be a fuse under the hood and under the dash. Check both. And check the fuse that is in the back of the radio as well.

Thank you all, got the wiring wrong, that's why it won't power up. Connected the correct wires now and my radio is working.. yay!!!
