2014 ST Upgrades that wont void factory

I am looking for some upgrades that are easy too install ( doesnt require a professional mechanic to put it in). Also they must not void the factory warrentry on the car. Mods I thinking about getting , Levels Performance Intercooler, KN air filter ( not wasting money on cold air cause factory intake looks perfectly fine) , Turbosmart BOV , Cobb RMM , Flowmaster American Cat Back. I see all these cars got Tuner Scanners in it but doesnt it flash the ECU?

Go with the FRPP tune. I just ordered it. Check it out.

Exhaust - Ford offeres one, but you will only see small gains. The K03 turbo is small, and the 2.5" factory exhaust flows perfectly fine for it. A downpipe wont do much either. Only if you go K04 turbo, will it make a difference if you do exhaust. I'd rather stock and stealthy.

As for the intercooler, so long as all the factory parts on the vehicle are put back on, Ford will have a hard time disputing the intercooler causing any issues.

Hope this helps.

What kind of turbo i have in my '14 st ?

How much is the tune and will it do anything to void anything if i do install it?

The intercooler is bigger but it shouldnt effect anything much just lower running temps.

So the exhaust might help or not? I love the stock exhaust

13' & 14' have a K03 turbo. The Borg Warner KKK K04 turbo will bolt right up, and void your warranty in a fraction of a second!

The tune itself is only $495, tune with intake modification & filter is $595. Might as well get the whole kit. You can get the tune with intake/filter and exhaust (exhaust might be good for 4-7hp/tq nothing more & sound) for about $1400.

The intercooler, I think only one allows you to keep/use the factory parts. I can't remember it off the top of my head. It's only 1/4 bigger than the stock and uses the shutter system. Anything is better than stock!

The exhaust will help just a litlte, not much. The exhaust flows just fine for the small little turbo. Now if you use the Ford Racing exhaust (with the FRPP option for $1400) seems to be the same as the Borla. Either way, neither (no aftermarket cat back exhaust sytem to my knowledge) will void the warranty. Just don't touch the down pipe. It's not worth it with the K03 turbo as you won't see any gains (regardless of what you hear/see) as it flows well enough for the little K03 turbo.

No, not covered under warranty. There is only one approved remap/tune for the Focus ST. The tune has to be purchased through a Ford Authorized Dealer, and installed by a Ford Dealer or Lincoln Dealer so they can note that it was installed on the vehicle on the VIN. Otherwise, kiss that warranty goodbye!

Basically everything is tuned right on the ST stock. I read that the Intercooler upgraded does cool better since its better. I hear that the turbosmart is better than OEM bov. Just for looks does nothing to increase power. I know exhaust is for show and not for power cause the exhaust is already tuned for the ST. Sounds great too! I am not into like body mods or suspension. The whole car is better than my pos SVT i had. I trying to spend less than $2k on the car just some mods here and there to make it sound better up front and preform better on these hot summer days. Main use for the car is daily driver to school and back I dont use it for track or race. There for dont need the extra hp/tq

The blow off valve is for noise only and makes zero power benefit, other than the wallet reduction modification.

Most aftermarket exhaust systems are noisy and not that beneficial.

For a daily driver you don't need to do anything to the car at all.
