Is this the rumored Focus RS in keeping with the facelifted Focus?

Wow I actually really like the updates. Every time I see a Fiesta coming from the other direction with the newer grill I hope it's an ST. I haven't seen one on the road, though I did sit in one at a local dealership. Anyways I really like the look of the new front end over the outgoing model and I'm not sick of the Aston-esque grill quite yet...I think it is a nice indicator of new Ford's and given the brand heritage and previous ownership of aston/jag, it's fitting. The one word that comes to mind for the new interior is "sharper" than the old model. Some say it's less "fun" but I think it seems more polished and cleaned up a bit. I would definitely drive this car, particularly the 1.0 litre 3-cylindar turbo model. Hoping they do the same makeover to the ST model--though that one looks pretty damn good as-is.

Not diggin' the Aston Martin-ish front end. It just seems too, ahem "old" for me.

Indeed. I don't understand why everyone assumes the US won't get a six speed manual or additional engine options. Just because the 2.0 is carrying over doesn't mean there can't be new motors/gearboxes.

Because Ford always screws over North American market, we gets trucks and Mustangs and a big FU for the rest of the lineup.

The 1.0 EcoBoost comes with a 6-speed manual in the U.S.
