St00pid drivers... I hate you!

So driving home from work today... day was way too long as it is. Taking the streets, because traffic sucks in Chicago... Some st00pid little 17year old girl pulls out of a parking spot on a fairly busy street, and rams the back of my Focus. I have a 2005 ZX4, she hits the rear passenger door, pushes my car off a bit and slides all the way to the back. Tha damage is actually surprisingly minimal, but when you figure (hoping not, but have to get it checked) she could have [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]**ed up me rear alignment, and the crap I will have to deal with to get all this fixed. it SUCKS!!!

sorry, just had to vent a bit.

She says she wants to just pay me... as her mom came out of the car as well, both wearing those crazy dresses... I hate st00pid drivers

Statistics prove that 5 out of 7 drivers drive with their heads up their ass. Unfortunately you had to learn this the hard way. At least the damage is minimal, and everyone was able to walk away under their own will.

yea, best way to defend yourself is be nice in rush hour, leave yourself an exit and be cautious of others who are agitated and careless... I just had to deal with 5-10 mph traffic due to a major accident. I let those who have their blinker.

went to get an estimate.. left 1300+ in damage... rear wheel, and she hit the door, rear quarter and bumper... all of which will have to be re-painted. I actually got hooked up with a good labor rate (20% off) because I know a guy.

In any case, I drive into the bdy shop, and what do I see... a WRECKED! svt zx3 maybe 2001 or so. air bags poped. whole front end is done. I asked the guy why is this not totaled, he said insurance company said fix it. Anyone with Kentucky plates wreck their car in Chicago latelty?


As far as defensive driving... no chance, like I said, I am carefull... but when this happend, I was in shock from the fact that no one (other than her) had any angle on my sh|t

tell me about it the second day i owend my SVTF some aS## hit me in the back because he was talking in his cell phone.. i took it to get an estimed turned out to be 1350 bucks for a new bumber and the dent in the back door.. I feel your pain

I actually work out in Deerfield (when I am in town... I travel quiet a bit).

I know that Best Buy pretty well, pass by there at least once a week. Used to scr3w someone that worked there actually. Good old times hehehe
