re: i want an svt!
to all of you who helped me and gave me some suggestions to my problem, i got an answer bacl from david over here at sunrise ford. he said that the focus has realy good rebates and can get me out of the car with a total price of $18,999 not including taxes fees license, aand a monthly payment off 230 a month. the focus is fully loaded. but ive heard that the 2004 focuses have had major problems. is that true i want one badly but not if ima only drive it 2 weeks out of everymonth... now people what is good about the 2004 focus? and whats IS BAD? i dont care about 2003 2002 hell even the rs or the cosworth im talkin 2004 baby. hola homies

I think you have it backwards. Most of the problems have been with prior years not the 04s. So far I have 6000 hard miles on my car with only 2 problems. Seat squeak and the factory forgot to charge my AC. I dont think there is many if any real differences between the years. The introduction of the 5 door is really the only change that I can think of. Also, the Euro edition was only produced for 03 and 04 I think. I have the Euro and really love it. I dont think I would have bought my car if it wasent.

i have had a my car in the shop 4 times now, i have also had terrible luck with any other car i have had. Nothing major at all tho, little things here and there.

hey hey now i know for a fact that its not always the driver i have a v6 bird and that basterd gave me problems lets just say i bought it for bout 8 gs used and wound up putting over 8 gs in work. so dont hate on homie

They are the best bet because they have almost all the bugs worked out of them. For instance they don't have the rev surging problem like many of the '02s have when you start up on a cold day. You should do a search on the problems that people have with the svt

^^ I beg to differ, my 04 has the surging problem! But other than that no big problems at all, I have just a little over 10,000 on my 04 and I love it.
