I'm sorry to say it but you will definetly throw a CEL without the tune with that header, I was about to get that one myself recently before I found a used focussport header for a steal. You don't HAVE to wrap it or anything but I would highly recommend doing it to keep the underhood temps down and insulate the header. You can usually pick up enough wrap to do the header for about $60-$80. As far as running like crap i'm not 100% sure because you are still going to have your upstream O2 sensor installed which will give the ECU something to base its fuel trim off of, It probably won't run that great but it might actually run somewhat decent, maybe long enough for you to get your tune going. What caused you to not be able to get one?

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll be letting you all know soon how it works. My friend that's installing the header along with a few other things is a Ford expert so hopefully he'll have a solution.
