Considering "new" Zetec...thoughts?

I've been checking e-bay for used Zetecs on and off for the past few months for one local to me and one finally popped up, its out of a totalled '01 with ~35,000 on the clock (so the seller claims) and its only about 15 miles away, with a starting bid of $99, no bids and three days left. I'm on the fence at the moment...my current engine is starting to get up there in the mileage department (just rolled over 107,000) and by the time I get my company car in September-October I will have undoubtedly put an additional 15,000-20,000 on it since I drive so much for work. At that point, I'm figuring with 125,000-130,000 the engine isn't going to be in any shape to take FI, which is what I'd like to eventually do with it. So I will be rebuilding the engine, at least forged rods and pistons...maybe some turbo-grind cams and a FR or FP head if my budget allows it. I would like to keep the Focus running during the engine build, so this would be a definite plus...its a complete engine with the intake and exhaust manifolds, and according to the seller only some minor damage to the timing gear cover. From the pictures its missing all of the pumps and alternator...would ~$100-150 be worth a 35,000 mile Zetec, or should I just keep my current engine and build it? I do have access to a shop where I could keep the car, but I think my friend would be a lot more willing to give me enough space to store just the engine rather than the whole car, especially since the build could drag on for a few months.

Thoughts?

How good is the seller's rating? If they're virtually unrated as a seller, or have a neutral to neg. rating, I'd shy away from that, but if the're in good standing, and selling alot of items, grab it. If you don't know the seller personally, that's really all you can go by since you can't really tell exact mileage from pics of an engine. Since you've got some time yet, call a few local salvage yards and price a used Zetec from them if they have them. This will give you a better gauge of the EBay item's worth.
