Starting To See Focus ST's More Often

My wife thinks I am a dork, but I am probably 0-10 in the last two months when seeing Focus STs and flashing my lights or waving at them.
I was shocked to see a co-worker has the same car as me. I asked her what about it she liked and she said, "I dunno I am not really a car person...."

Welcome to FF!

It's always "Odd" to my eyes when people buy the "fanciest" version of something without knowing what they're getting.

And from Cars to Bicycles, the first complaint is about the price/PITA's from special Tires they would have been better off without!

Women.
No wonder us men have to work so damn hard, they have no idea what they're buying.
Oh, shinny.
Oh, new shoes. (that she'll ware once and bitch about how they hurt for the next 5 years)
Oh, a new purse. (to hold more useless shit. I mean look, I can fit an entire suit in my back pocket. WTH is in that purse that can't be fit in a pocket?)

Aren't you happy you're seeing more of them?
But I'm sure you wish you could actually carry a conversation with the owners more. Right?

I haven't had a chance to do much more then wave or flash the lights as we are going in opposite directions. Yesterday I had a chance to stalk someone if I were up for it, as they were pulling into a parking lot while I was pooling out. Even though mine was just washed and all the sand (ice) was finally off of it, I didn't want to turn around and creep, a nice wave back would make me happy lol I did get a biker asking me about the car the other day and then giving me a thumbs up...

The only group as a whole that i've seen do the lights and wave thing is Jeep Wrangler owners.

i had a 00 Sahara edition and got the wave probably 98% of the time from other owners

I'm actually of the exact opposite mindset-I generally believe that if someone can afford it then they should get the best of what's available. At least within their budget, that is. As a general rule it will give a better overall experience. I think a lot of Americans would be happier with a fully-loaded compact or midsize compared to a base-level SUV if they would only give it a chance and didn't 'need' the additional room.
