EWIW - Some 50cc are limited to about 30 for states where that is legal without a scooter/motorcycle license. Car license is all that's needed for the "moped" class ones here.

I live in Texas and while I don't live very far from my work at all the only problem is it's all highway mainly so I would need something that can keep up with highway traffic. If I got something smaller it would be something to putt around the drag strip and around town.

An older 1980s Honda Elite 250 would be a good starter. The new Elite 150s are fuel-injected and capable of freeway speeds, with a few mods they're badass.

I don't got the time for it , it was fun to play around on but I will stick to my ZX6R , the FA50 needs some cleaning up and a new piston , long story short it
thought it was a dirt bike one day and I filled the cylinder with mud and while cleaning the motor out the piston was damaged (due to a friend being dumb )
motor is cool but needs a piston

Ruckus has no body panels and is 50cc only, aside from the gawd-awful 250cc Big Ruckus 2005-06. Elites were the 1980s-scooters, but just made a comeback as a 110 and a 150. ...

There's a huge Ruckus scene. .. www.totalruckus.com is where I frequented before I scored a ZX3 a few weeks ago :)

I do know what I'm missing and have no interest in lanesplitting. Been there, done that, not worth it.

I have more miles on motorcycles than you can imagine, and will never intentionally ride between two cars.
