Getting a BAD ASS VALETINE ONE!

Finally I had a passport8500 which was shot, now I have a POS cobra bluetooth that hooks up to my phone and falsely alerts on every damn thing. I really have been wanting a v1 for a long time and they have come down in price too they used to be 500 without the display now they are 399$ plus 39$ so I got out of there for a grand total of 450 with shipping<3! Some of the story's I'm reading I know are very true on v1's website for someone who's been using a radar/laser detector for a long time I know the tricks the cops use on i95. Lets see if she can detect anything over a hill especially if they are using instant on, typically that's how the troopers get you just over a hill out of your line of site by the time you crest that hill or turn he's got you lol.

they are illegal here

Last time I got a speeding ticket the officer said from the first time she locked on me to the second time there was a variance
She said she had never seen a variance in speed like that
I laughed to myself because I punched the brakes the moment I crested the hill and seen her
I probably could have gone to court and had it thrown out because of her statement but she had reduced the ticket to no demerit points and less than $50
She had me dead to rights and gave me a break so why EF with her in court

you know that as soon as your detector goes off they've already got your speed, right?

Exactly. Your radar detector goes off when the cop is using their radar, if they aren't using it your detector won't go off. It senses the radar signal and alerts you, basically all it does is tell you they know how fast you're going, unless you're lucky and it's just someone near you. Also if the cop has a ladar instead you're pretty much shot regardless

I was talking to my UHP instructor awhile back and he did some tests with a friend and various detectors like these.... he'd already had the guy's speed about 3 seconds before it went off.

And they can tell if you have a jammer too... he tried that as well. It comes up with some error or no speed reading. I forgot what it was, but they can tell.
