Price of a new or slightly used 04??

Hello,

I'm in the market for a new car and i'm trying to get an idea of what kind of price I should ask for on a new or slightly used 04 svt focus 3 door. I currently own an 01 lightning that is highly modified and I'm in the market for a daily driver.

Thanks

I bought my 04 with HID's for a hair over 16k. One of the local non-SVT certified dealers is selling an 02 with 29k (I think) on the odometer for 15k... I laughed! You should be able to pick up an 04 new for 16k if not cheaper (if you can find one), used for a few grand less.

Good luck!

I work in used car dept and I am asst mgr. Hmm with low miles my car will trade in for around 14.5k and thats around clean book to x-clean book because of miles 5k. So that plus pack of $800 takes you to 15.3k plus mark up so 19.3k is what my car would be on our lot for in "this market" down here. My sticker was $23,115.00 new. These cars are going to hold book now fairly well as production has stopped and production was low and these cars are rare and over time will only become more rare as guys wrap em around poles etc. We have 2 2002s on the lot non euro 2 door models for around 12k about 9k ACV (actual cash value) plus 800 pack plus small mark up of around 2k as they are 30 plus days in stock and we flush after 60 days hence the lower mark up.

Dont all ways take www.kbb.com as the best way to see any cars value as there are soo many different factors that make up the value it just doesnt do much justice.

LMAO, its pretty close now and its gone up about $1200 on KBB.com . Manheim auction has a website most dealers use to see how cars do at the auction and is often the best way to determine a value.
