The race exhaust is definitely not loud. I had mine on for almost three years. Now, when I installed the header as well, that was loud. Very, very loud. Which is why it is no longer on the car, I got pulled over and given an inspection ticket. Oh well.

Also when installing do I HAVE to cut the pipe??
If you have an accessible air filter then you don't have a PZEV. If you don't have a PZEV you don't have a second cat.

Also, yes. You have to cut the factory exhaust to get it out unless you remove the rear subframe.

And I still need to order the rest of my exhaust to have that put on! FINALLY have income again, and my tax return helped a lot. Just a couple more checks and she'll be right for install.

I was just about to post on your profile to see if you have installed it yet. Just make sure you get a stealth muffler or something, state troopers will get you or Centreville PD. Hell, put one of those electric cut-outs on it to make it louder when you want. I kind of wish I hadn't sold it now since there aren't any inspection tickets in Alabama and I could cause a ruckus.

I'm going to use Crice's original system. Two mufflers off the flex and a resonator in the bend position. Didn't sound insanely loud on the video he made. Definitely not hella loud like the race exhaust. Plus no inspection in Easton where I am now either lol. I never open her up around cops if I can help it, nooooo.. Helllll no xD actually I tend not to open her up unless I know there's NOT any cops around lol. Wait did you -move- to bama? Thought you said you were coming back! I was going to ask if you were going to FF14 haha don't think you'd want to make the drive from Alabama!

I'm here for college, I'll be here for a few years. I might go to FF, I actually think it is a shorter drive than coming from MD. What do you mean you don't have inspection in Easton? You mean you don't have emissions? Yeah, I know. You'd probably still pass anyways with a tune. They never picked up my tune and I had the rear O2 sensor turned off.

Wait, what do YOU mean you don't have inspection in bama? You legit have NO inspection at all down there? Also if you do go to FF I'll probably see you there lol.

They don't inspect cars to register them and they don't have inspection tickets like we have in Maryland. They do have "fix-it" tickets, one of my friends just got one the other day for tint. I don't really know how the legal system works here for court and fines and stuff, I hope I don't have to find out. My car is still registered in Maryland anyways. FF starts on my birthday, I believe, so it would be a good excuse for me to get up there.

How does the volume of the FSW race exhaust compare to a Trubendz (magnaflow) system? They are essentially identical systems.
