Question what are the 1/4 mile times on a precision turbo focus zx3??

Does anybody know the 1/4 mile times on a precision turbo'd 01 zx3?? I would think it would be somewhere around 13 seconds by some rough calculations, am I right or way off?

There probably going to be somewhere in the 14's right out of the box. But in reality it really comes down to the driver and psi. When I run 10 pounds the best I have ran is 14.1. But when I run 15 pounds the best is 13.8. It's all in the driver and the tires and such.

How many pounds does the kit run out of the box?

Im not sure how many pounds it runs but I know it's supposed to give 225 hp to the wheels on a typical stick-shift focus. So what do you think that will get me on the 1/4 mile?

here is the link to the kit - Precision Turbo Kit

I'm just lookin to beat a 88 stick-shift crx si with a b16a swap (some one told me that those will do a 1/4 mile in 14 seconds with only the b16a swap) any one know if that is true?

I would think you would probably be looking at high 14's to low 15's with the turbo kit. This of course is just a guess. Even with that, the civic would still be a hard car to handle. 160hp is one thing, but 160hp in a car as light weight as Kate Moss is another.

As said above, tires and driver will be biggest factor.

On a hot July day with a full tank of gas, 195 wide Kumho 712s, mostly gutted but with full cage and two seats, 12 PSI / ~ 220 WHP, I did 14.02 @ 104.9 MPH with a 2.45 60'.

The best precision has been able to do even with a built AXT has been a 13.6

Look into the focus-power kit it is known to do 13`s easy, many of my kits are in the 13,s

That was a good pass Rod

my buddies civic is doing 13.9 on a stock b18c1 (170hp) engine with just an upgraded ecu.

Depends on driver for the most part. Never go in expecting to low. Once I have the Pro Charger on im not expecting to much. Even if I hit into the 15's Im happy.

allright, so what u guys are telling me is that a precision turbo zx3 and a b16a (160 HP) crx would be pretty much neck and neck, and it would all come down to the driver?

If thats true , i think i might buy the crx on th side and keep the focus with a few minor mods on the side as my daily driver, because the crx with that swap will keep up with a turboed zx3 but all I would have to do is add like a 75 shot of nitrouse and i'd blow it away. I know im going to hear "keep the focus and turbo it, it's more original" but actually there is an army base that I went to around here and I saw about 7 pretty heavily modded focus zx3's and 1 svt in the barracks parking lot alone and there are still a few others iv'e seen driving around
not to mention all of the stock ones in this area but i see very few crx's, alot of civic sedans and hb's but no crxs, so I think the crx might be a little more original in my area
