Question USB 2.0 Flash Drive recommendations wanted

Want a USB (2.0 ?) flash drive to put music files on for my 2014, any suggestions ? The USB ports are kinda hard to get to so bigger is better (something the size of a match stick not wanted) am considering this Verbatim model

Ive used this PNY one for a few years now with no problems. It might be a little slow for some. I transfer a few songs here and there to it as I download and it works great - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820178438

I actually just bought another last week for my second vehicle - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820178688

And a plus newegg is great

I have a 32 Gb Kingston. It's metal, I got it off Amazon for like $20. That's a ton of music, and I record all my stuff in 320 kbps stereo. I never listen to the radio.

Just a warning based on personal experience: Be careful with those PNY drives. The price is pretty good but they have a pretty high failure rate. All of the ones I've owned would either become read-only after a few months or become completely unrecognized by any operating system. That particular one doesn't have any reviews yet, but other PNY flash drive reviews on Newegg will tell the same story, unfortunately. As I'm writing this, I'm looking at a broken 64GB PNY drive on my desk that spent most of its one year life in a drawer. It still works, but it's read-only.

I agree though, that USB port is in an absolutely terrible place. There just isn't an easy way to switch drives because the port is in such an awkward spot.

Back to the drives themselves, over the years I've had consistently good luck with two of the biggest names in consumer flash memory, SanDisk and Lexar. I'd also recommend Mushkin, although I haven't owned any of their USB flash drives, I've used their memory and SSD drives, and their customer service is top notch.

I'm currently using two drives in the Focus, a 32GB Lexar drive filled with full albums I've owned for years, and a 16GB OCZ drive with mostly new music and single tracks on it. I'm also one of the dozen or so people who bought a Zune, and I use that too from time to time.

Also worth mentioning is that there is an apparent limit to how much music the Sync system can handle. I am by no means an expert having just bought my car last month, but when researching the Focus I learned that there is a maximum amount of tags the system can process, after which point it still plays your music but searching by song no longer works. I never did find a definitive limit, but 10,000-12,000 tracks seemed to be where the problem started, and depending on bitrate and song length, you'd probably hit that with a 64GB drive, and certainly if you filled a 128GB drive.

128 Gb is a ridiculous amount of music depending on the bitrate. I think even recorded at 320 kbps that's still more than a month of continuous play.
