Unhappy Help! The throttle closed when Plug-turbine on MK2

Hi all:
I am new here!
I met some problems when i want to Plug-turbine on my focus MK2 1.8 MT!
Duratec engine!

if the turbo workig and the inake air pressure become positive pressure, the ECU will control the throttle to close !

in my opinion ,my car is a NA engine car, so the intake air sensor think the intake air pressure be negative pressure! when i plug-turbine,the intake air pressure wii be positive ! The ECU will think it not Normal!

any one can help me to solve this problem? i have the sct advantage 3 sotfware!

thanks!!! all!!

AIM?

Moved to Forced Induction section for looks from people familiar with this modification. Few with experience, so questions are not answered quickly.

"Plug-Turbine" is not a familiar description, not recognized = hard to answer. Also only 2.0 engine in USA cars 2010.

IF you are doing a Turbo installation, I THINK the MAF tube is normally before the turbo. It may be possible both ways, I think hdwe. & software would be different for after the Turbo installation.

There are many variations, waiting for expert opinion might help. I have not researched all possibilities.

Luck

i dont want to seem rude but you are extremely difficult to understand. i assume english is not your first language? once again, no offense intended, but you really need to try harder to make yourself understood or you need another person to translate for us in order for us to properly help.

if i am making sense of your original post your problem is that you are trying to put either a turbo charger or a supercharger on your mk2 focus and you are concerned because an unmodified engine has vacuum or suction (negative pressure) and your engine will have boost (positive pressure) and the computer will read the positive pressure and not let the engine run properly.

here is your solution. contact a tuner and have them tune your car.
here is the screen name of a tuner you can contact: 1turbofocus
his name is tom, he is very nice and very good at tuning the focus.
he also has AIM which is hpdyno@aol.com

have fun tom! lol

When discussing this problem, another member suggested you MAY be trying to use an E-turbine purchased from E-Bay.

(Could "plug turbine" be an electric fan for the intake?)

Best result from these is no improvement in power. Depending on the installation they can cause problems.

Engine works better without this type of "turbo".

Check the "Duratec Performance" section for modifications that DO work. E-Turbine & certain inexpensive CAI (cold air intakes) from E-Bay sellers won't let the engine run properly.

oh hell i didnt make that connection. agreed! if you are talking about an electric supercharger that runs off the battery then dont even mess with it.

focusmaniaczx3 - thanks for jumping in here, your first suggestion is PERFECT if he's installing a real Turbo.

Tom could tell him how to plumb it & get it running right. (and he's got an SCT already)

If our second guess is correct, Tom is still a good source for getting tuned.
