That's not a bad price at all. I never did bother with dynamat, I guess I didn't care about all the rattles.

That head unit will not match your interior at all.

soooo......I had no idea Type-R's could sound so good. That JL 10" W3 is louder than any 12 I've ever had and the dynamat was worth every penny. There is not a single rattle inside or outside this car. I also double sided taped the plate to the plate frame to avoid rattle there.

No video or day time shots of the system yet, but on my lunch @ work today I'll post some. it's true, the metra kick has the ugly orange lights that I will need to change out for a blue, but the kit doesn't look too bad.

I like how your dash does not have 9000 weird shaped buttons anymore! I bet those Type R's sound great. You bought some good stuff, those JL's slam. I had two JL 12 W1
s and they were absolutely jaw droppingly loud, and your W3 I believe can push more power.

I couldn't tell you if it's the 2 or 4 ohm (both same price) but yea I don't think i'll go anything else in the future other than JL W series. The bass stays 75% in the car which is great and my neighbors will be happy with that as well. Neighboring cars can surely feel the bass, just not hear it (if that makes sense)

Here's some better shots. I can't do bluetooth audio AND record video with my phone, so I'll have to upload video when I get home on another camera.

I actually looked at that kit before I bought the car, and I have no idea why they gave it orange illumination knowing it was going into a Focus with light blue.

That's such an engineering fail, I don't even know where to begin.

Not to mention the buttons below "menu" and "info" do absolutely nothing. Not even while in menu mode....
