if i lived by u....id race ya...me and my friends always race atnight...10pm,12am,3am...doesnt matter...but we have MEADOWS!!!...so we have a LONG ASS strip of road that we use to drag...dont worry everyone....we have a unique..SAFE way of doing this.....the 2 ppl racing go to the starting line...which is a sign on the grass net to the road.....one person is in there car..a 1/4 mile away..when they see there r no signs of cars.....he turns his lights off....and gives us 3 high beams....and on the 3rd one we go...then the person in the car moves to the side and watches...as do 10 or so other ppl in the near by parking lot.....its a fun night..also ITS SAAFE!!!!!....if ne1 is ever in lyndhurst NJ...and wants to race....let me know b4 hand...we can set sumthing up...i always have friends who r willing to drag

I won't back down from that statement no matter how "harsh" it may of sounded. Every week there is an article in the San Diego Tribune about some innocent person being killed because of a street race. All I can ever think about is how that family must feel and what they're going through. TAKE IT TO THE TRACK. If you don't have one in your town, drive your sorry ass to one then. I'm out!

Really you guys shouldnt go off on this guy. Racing on the street when at night and no one is around is better than doing a drive by or a robbing a store or maybe worse. USA has the most gun killings in the world/year. something like 11,000/yr. when the rest of the world doesnt even add up to anything close. Now there is something to bitch about. Leave the street racers alone. I do it once and awhile and yes it can be bad but it dont have to be if done on a empty street with very little ppl around.. Now im no guns kill ppl freak its just an example that there are worse things going on besides street racing.

Much like robbing a store, street racing is something people get riled up about because there has been a rise in the amount of INNOCENT people that are suffering as a result of it. Going off and getting yourself killed is one thing, you made your choice, but bystanders? C'mon!

Moreover, these people are dying NEEDLESSLY -- there is no necessity in street racing, it is something people choose to do. There were enough ways to be killed in the world before people started converting motorways into drag strips. The reason this argument is so solid is that there are 100% LEGAL venues for racing. And it doesn't matter how few people there are around. If ONE person dies, that's one that didn't have to. THAT is why he's getting gone off on.
