If you mod your motor, you'd see some mpg & performance. What mods have you done? Could be part of the problem= sunroof= excess weight at the top of the vechicle & making the alt. run more w/ your seat heaters. When I got my car, I said no reds & sunroofs.

Just a Steeda intake. Slightly lighter wheels than stock. I shift at 2,500 or even lower depending on the gear. I rarely rev it up since the gearing is already pretty short and the torque is easy to reach. My driving is nearly all backroads, hilly and around 35 mph. So it isn't a very good place to bang out high milage.

I rarely use the heated seats. Women love them though, like a cat to a warm laptop.

most mods posted so far (wheels, tunes, catbacks) would never pay for them selves in fuel.
aside from basic maintencance, driving style and aerodynamics pay the most dividends.

I've been all over it before.

Thanks for the link.

Im hoping that when spring hits, the MPG will go back up to what it was. If it doesnt then im going to have to assume it was the wheel weight that hurt my MPG.

I think its funny from my viewpoint. I have a 2002 SPI and i regularly get 30 mpg. In town or on the highway, or on the country roads. I would have thought for sure there would be a huge difference in mpg between a 2002 and 2012 but i guess not. 2012's are better because newer but they are more expensive to fix and seem to have more bugs with the computers.
Ha not that the SPI engine concept is any better.
