Upper Grill Light Delete?

Hey guys for a long time i have wanted to get rid of the blinker lights on the focus when the headlights are on. This link i found shows you how to do it but i thought id post it on here just to make sure its not bad to just go clipping wires and whatnot.
Heres the link:

Thanks for the help!

That's all you have to do. Just cut the center wire far enough from the connector so you have enough slack to reconnect if needed. You'll need it for vehicle inspection. There's another way to do it, but this is the easiest.

Also, you now have a " live " wire that you can use for other lighting if you chose. I use some small LED's in my clear housing for a different look.

I had a buddy that none of his turn signals worked when he took that out. Does that sound right?

No. It only cuts power to the parking lights. It's simply cutting the middle wire.
