Redline Tuning Fuel door KEEP PLASTIC?

I know there was a thread somewhere about keeping the fuel tube/cap liner in place when installing the redline fuel door can anyone post the link Ive searched and cannot find it

Apparently Redlinetuning.com only allows the first page of the instructions to be downloaded. Just like you, my searches came up fruitless as well. Perhaps someone on here will have a copy of the instructions and be able to pass them onto you.

I have their instructions..... but someone here was able to keep the plastic liner instead of removing it thats what I would like to do

Try myfordfocus.com. I used their instructions to install mine. I have a Mustang fuel door, but the installation should be similar.

you see the black plastic liner there is a way to keep it instead of removing it I saw it a while back I should have PDFed the page

It's been awhile since I did mine. I still have my boot in place. I don't remember removing it, or messing with the venting. I think I secured the boot with the fuel door installation screws. I guess the how-to is misleading a bit. I did use it as a reference though.

I doubt any pics of mine would help you at all. After the installation, you really can't see any thing. And the fender liner is in the way from underneath. There's quite a few post on FJ to check out though.

Glad to help out. Once you get the old stuff off, you'll see everything you need to do. I wish I had access to that when I did mine. It was probably available, but I never found it. Just take your time, it's worth it.
