I take it there is no cel on. Does your emmissions test place have a obd2 readiness detector?

The P1000 code will remain until all the ODB monitors have completed.
Most complete during a 10-15 minute 'city' type - stop and go drive, while some will take some steady - hiway type driving. 10 - 20 mins on the freeway should do it with the majority at a steady throttle.
The trick is the EVAP monitor. It requires a 6 - 8 hr overnight soak then a 'hiway' type of drive for 10 - 20 minutes at steady throttle and steady vehicle movement, ie no fuel sloshing and NOT turning off the car before the hiway drive.

I finally got this damn thing to work. The trick you ask, take it to ford and have them actually put a stock tune back in it. My xcal 3 is a liar! No matter how many times it says its back to stock, IT ISNT. I'm guessing it lost it over time from sitting in my car for so many years or during one of the times I tried returning it back to stock it got dumped. So finally the monitors are turning on and working. Gotta get the cat to set on the high way and away I go!
