Alright so my grille is taking forever to get here, so here's a few before/after pics. I really need to lower it 1.5", and now is the perfect time to do it since I need new shocks and struts anyways.
After that...maybe i'll put some power into it??
I'm thinking a set of Crane Cams for it.

Already off the Winter Wheels eh?

Even the SVT drop makes a big difference in looks & performance. Pick the drop that's best for you.

Yeah. I ordered the SVT set today. after doing alot of thinking about it, 1/2 inch drop is all I can really do here in Colorado unless I want to tear my front bumper off. I have to go at an extreme angle as it is now just to get out of my apartment complex. Its ridiculous here. I think that's all I really need though, I just want it to corner.

On a side note I got my fogs wired up today and got my CAI installed. Still not quite sure how I feel about how low the filter sits...but It doesnt rain much in Colorado anyways, so I think I'll be fine. It just worries me because I had a friend with a low CAI filter like that and he sat is front end in a puddle at a stop light and sucked up water into the engine and bent his rods. It sounds pretty awesome though.

And here's how my apartment looks right now. Been a loooong time since I've just had a ton of parts laying around my kitchen...I kinda miss it.

Kitchen's a little full....

Nose looks GOOD on the car!

There are "socks" avail. to stop water issues with the CAI, might try that for peace of mind if you're worried.

Like stated above, get a prefilter to put over the filter. It is treated with repelent and repels water/mud. Its not water proof so dont go driving through deep puddles lol. My svt is droped 2" and I have never had a problem but I avoid puddles like crazy. I just got my AEM prefilter just to be safe, the weather here in Cali has been amazing over the past couple weeks. I just wanted some extra insurance for when it rains again. You cant beat that CAI sound!

Its so disappointing to see black paint in such bad shape. You need to polish that, ASAP.

Oh sweet, yeah I'll definitely take a look at that. The CAI sound is awesome. I love hearing it whistle, and it sounds great now that I have my new muffler put on the car too.

Yeah this is my first black car. As soon as its warm out I'm doing a full polish/wax on the car. The clearcoat on the front bumper is also super bad, started flaking off the second I washed the car So i just sprayed the entire clearcoat off the bumper for now. Definitely need to get it repainted though.

Took some night shots:

And got an exhaust tip put on today. Still a little too quiet, so I need to take the resonator off next.

Got my exhaust all finished. The camera sound is a little quieter than it really is, but sounds perfect to me. Its exactly the sound I was going for. I know most of you are going to give me shit about the tip, but that tip with the louvered muffler gives me the perfect sound. A little throaty, not high pitched, and gets nice and quiet when I let off the gas in case the po-po come swingin by.

Also got my SVT suspension set-up on my car!

I'm glad to see the grill finally came in! What are your plans now?
