Really doesn't matter to me. Id be okay with buying a used amp on ebay as long as it works. I really don't want to spend much on the amp, so I just want the bare minimum that I need for my set up. The SSL F4.400 seems like a good option since it costs about $50, but I'm not sure if 400 watts are too much for the speakers.

Thats the 05-07 bezel, all are the same from those years. Again, its not sitting flush, little optical illusion as the tablet is sitting flat but the bezel is raised...I'll get another picture with it being held flush. It wont fit as is, width wise..bezel is like an 1/8" too narrow for the tablet (2013 nexus 7 btw.)

I havent picked out an amp yet but it will be something fairly decent...I have these speakers sitting around that I would like to use:

lol not with that amp. that fuse is 15amp which might be 180 watts. so less than 50w max x4. which is pretty much the bare min for an amp. in fact I wouldnt be surprised if this is similar rms to you typical aftermarket deck.

tl;dr cheap amps lie

Don't laugh, but this Planet Audio amp is killer (I run it) and is suspected to be the same as Arc Audio I series amp (as discussed on DIYMA).

This isn't any more expensive, but what about a Boss CE404? It says it has a higher max power output, but I might not know what I'm talking about.

A bit out of my price range, but I'll keep an eye on it if I can't find anything else. Thanks!

State your amp budget please.

The Big Bang Series 4-Channel might be a good option but, it is still a 50x4 at 4ohm amp.

it is fused at 2x25 amps(use ohms law here)

Plus it is only 83% efficient at best.

Orrrrr. $20 more and get the PPI 800.4

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...I-BK800.4.html

I love mine.. Had an AQ120.4 that I paid like $260 for before I bought the 800.4 Its WELL worth the $140.

Maybe $40-$70? I know I'd find a mediocre amp with that kinda money but I'll be fine as long as the audio quality doesn't downgrade from the factory stereo's audio quality
