I love the contour svt, but...

FSVT 170hp - CSVT 200
FSVT 2700lbs - CSVT 3200lbs

100lbs = -10hp (as studies have shown)

The Focus SVT is slightly faster, i have only raced one CSVT in mine and i'm stock he had an intake and i beat it by 2 car lengths. But as always, driver makes a big difference. But according to numbers the Focus is slightly faster in both 0-60 and 1/4 mile. 15.1 vs 15.7/9.

all of them (excluding the 7 sec one obviously) have just an intake. Which is what about 95% of all tuners have on their car.

I would expect the Mazda 6s to be fast but I'm telling you the one I drove didn't have the pick up I thought it would.
I don't think the FSVT can take the CSVT, on a thead not that long ago someone that knew alot about the Contour was talking about the differances. koolaideman2005 I think you were posting in the post I'm talking about. Wasn't it you that posted the picture of the FSVT and the CSVT in the garage?

I was a member of CEG (www.contour.org) and a real enthusiast of the csvt for 4 years (well still am). The focus is SLIGHTLY faster, the same driver should have about a .5-1 car length lead in the quarter mile. Plus, all the numbers show it (i.e. car and track magazines etc)
