I've been running 16" winter wheels with the Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 and it is amazing. This is the first year I have ran dedicated winter tires/ wheels and I don't think I can ever go back.

winter tires make the SVT a tank in the snow, I've never had a problem with them

We have been under 20 degrees it seems like forever here in KY, been tearing through the snow/ice with my summer tires and havent had an issue.

I drove it to MI last weekend and had to drive back through a blzzard in Ohio, kinda sketchy sice there were countless cars off the road in the grass but we made it!

SVT FTW!

Been real interesting in MN lately (consistenly below zero with up to -50 wind chill) I'm definitely enjoying traction control and ABS as I've never had either before. It was snowing for like five hours today so it'll just be getting more fun lol

SVT is awesome!

I've just installed some new studded Nokian Hakkapaliita 7 tires and will be trying them out at an ice rally-x (on a lake) this weekend. I drove on them a bit this week to break in the studs, and they are the noisiest tire i have ever heard. I'm optimistic that that will result in improved traction.

this was the last rallyx on the old tires. good view of my skidplate too

Exactly how I feel about winter tires! I don't care if they are noisy, usually that means they are working!

I have Blizzak WS60's on my JRSC SVT and they aren't great, but not horrible either. I definetely would not buy them again though... I used to have a set of Toyo Observe G02 Plus winter tires on my Focus wagon and those were a damn good tire! I was doing the 50mph speed limit on a windy highway with 5 inches of snow on the ground and having 0 issues. It handles like I was on dry pavement! Then to test them even further I had to go into an unplowed parking lot which had about 1 foot of snow in it and I could stop for as long or little as I wanted and then just start driving again with very little wheel spin. When I got my SVT and switched to Blizzaks because they came on the wheels I got they just dissapointed me. They don't get traction near as fast and they hate the slush. The only good thing (which I don't care about) about blizzaks is the fact that they are quiet. I do have to say that in my car I have tons of grip while in vacuum mode, but as soon as I hit even 1 psi of boost the wheels just start slipping. Its kinda funny but makes winter driving a bit more challenging.

I'd really be interested in trying the Nokian Hakkapaliita tires… a nosey tire in the winter wouldn't bother me either… here in MN. I just want something that works! Something with amazing traction. I'm hoping to have a PWSC by next winter and want to have a second set of wheels/tires for the winter months here in MN.
