2003 Focus SVT Euro mirrors

I haven't seen this on the boards yet so I figured I'd try out these mirrors. I needed to replace my drivers side heated mirror because the heating element went bad. Heated mirror glass for the SVT Focus are hard to come by and cost about $45 for the replacement.

I found these on EBAY UK for the ST170 and figured I'd give them a shot. They fit perfect and give me the blind spot integrated into the mirrors. They are essentially like having the passenger convex mirrors on both sides with the bonus of the blind spot wide angle mirror.

They fit perfect and look 100% factory. They even have factory casting marks on the back of the mirror. You can get 2 of these through EBAY UK shipped cheaper than you can buy 1 over here. Plus these are much better for seeing other cars.

I bought mine from this guy and had good luck. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Q-11-FORD-...item257e289103

hmmm Im not seeing the blind spot convex mirror..... is it where that line is along the brick?..... Could you post a better pic of how the blind spot mirrors look with something in your rear view..... I already have those little circle pig spotter on the SVT mirrors and trying to decide if I should go this route instead for a cleaner look.....and does it just pop out?

Yeah, sorry for the bad pic. I'll try to get another pic with a car in the blind spot. It is where that line is. It starts to curve so I can see all 3 lanes on a 3 lane highway.

The mirror glass is very easy to change. The glass slides towards the outside of the car then pops out. Once the outside is popped out you slide it back in to the inside to get the other side of the glass out. Then just unplug the wires for the heated mirror.

The SVT mirrors are folding. But the mirror glass that I bought from UK is just the glass itself, not the entire mirror assembly.

I added another photo to help show the wide angle portion of the mirror. It's a lot more evident while you're driving but taking a picture while I'm driving isn't the easiest.
