Hid's

Hey all I've got an 07 and wondered what the best brand of hids are for a modest price. Apparently winter came this week and it's time to upgrade these headlights. If I can get lows highs and drls together that'd be awesome.

This will be a great bang for the buck and pretty much complete set. Mini's are proven to work great and are a small size factor. 9007 shoudl be the correct relay (just double check me on that!) 4300 or 5000k will get you the best output

If you are asking for a modest price then I assume you are not retro-fitting or using projectors? If you are not doing either one of those 2 options, then dont use hid's in stock reflector type housings. Dont be "that guy"

Hid's

I'd like to do projectors. I was looking around here for any that were for sale and couldn't find much. Of course I'll always get what I pay for. And no worries I vowed never to be that guy. The midnight drive home with some idiot who has the eBay hids behind you for six miles...no thanks lol

Yeah, but aiming them low enough to not blind everyone else means there's barely any light on the road...at that point, why even bother?

Projectors exist for a reason.

Headlights with projectors and he is including a HID bulbs (may ask if it includes the ballasts) installed for $250 plus shippping, sounds just like what you need.....

It would be if he had a MK1. He's got a MK1.5.

AFAIK, there aren't any good COMPLETE kits for the MK1.5, but I think Anzo makes a set. You could fit one of TRS's kits to the aftermarket lights, or to your stock ones.

Sucks that there were no factory HIDs for the 05-07, that where most of the MK1 guys got theirs from (myself included).

Damn, didnt catch that in this MK1 section.....Why the hell doesnt FF have a MK1.5 section???? LOL, it would be more productive than a "SPI Performance" section.
