The bolt head is broken off, therefore the header is not being held on. There shouldn't be threads on the header flange. If he takes the other bolts out, the header will come off. And yeah, the best bet is to get an ez out. You drill a hole carefully in the broken stud, put the ez out in, then screw it out. If you have a tap handle it will fit over the square part of the ez out perfectly, or you can try to put a wrench on the flats i guess.

well, thanks for all of your advice, but I dont want to mess with it anymore. I am just going to grab my balls and swallow my pride and drop it off at the dealership. I'll just pay them to worry about it, that way I wont have to.

probably the safest, smartest and most expensive choice you could've made, but look on the bright side, now that Ford is doing the repairs, you cant break anything else! lol

What's the hourly shop rate in your state, $80? $100? Figure an hour minimum. A good mechanic should have it out in a few minutes. The only possible complication is if the threads in the head are buggered, then they'll need to drill it out and put in a thread insert. Again, not a huge job. They'll probably ding you for gaskets and a new bolt at full price though.
