Where do YOU put your smartphone while driving your ST??

I have found there is really nowhere to put my huge Droid Maxx smartphone in the car besides the cupholders. The little cubby thing left of the shifter is too small and awkwardly shaped and cruising around on-ramp loops makes the phones fall out of it. So I am wondering where you guys put YOUR iPhones and your gPhones and your x-y-zPhones.

Do you have a car mount? I would like to find a CHEAP (so don't link me to that ProClips thread ) maybe even DIY method of mounting the phone on a dock, clipping to a vent, etc. so that I can see the phone if I need to or easily reach for it (only at a red light of course).

This post is 50% me trolling for ideas and 50% me starting a discussion.

Thanks

I don't have an ST, but I do have an SEL with the ST guages installed. I will get a pic of my dash mount.

Its not cheap but the Kuda Base is IMO the best looking option out there

But if you havent looked in this thread yet, it has just about every mount known to the MK3 world in it, lots of pro clip mounts but some cheaper more affordable ones and even some DIY mounts.

I keep mine in the cupholder, that way it isnt a distraction. Plus I drive manual so it is hard to use my phone anyways if I didn't have the SYNC system

I keep mine in my pocket, bluetooth takes care of everything. My wife has a Kenu airframe which clips to the vent. http://www.kenu.com/products/airframe

I'll take a pic of it when I get home. It works well for $20.
