Returnless Fuel System

This subject has been discussed for years, but has anyone had any luck recently with making consistent runs of close to 400 on a returnless system? I really don't want to go with a return system. I am making 368whp now and would like to squeeze just a little more out of the setup. I have no plans to go over 400. I have the SVT/BAP setup.

lots of AN fittings, fuel line, small (1L-1gal should work) fuel cell, big daddy fuel pump, fuel rail, and a few other this and thats. it costs just as much as doing a regular fuel cell return style fuel system but i think its a little easier to do. you dont loose ANY functionality from the stock fuel system like the ability to run the tank to empty if you want or the stock fuel gauge or filler tube location. to my knowledge my car is the first focus to have this done.

Hardly the first, Dtec04 from FJ did this to his car back in 2007

And the Focus RS guys have been doing it this way for years.

Plenty of the RS guys have been doing it for awhile now, but you may be the first zetec guy to do it idk.

I have been wanting to do one for awhile now. I just don't want it in the engine bay or in the hatch like the RS guys do. I would like to do it under the car in the rear somewhere. The problem with that is the added cost of hose to run all the way to the front along with a lack of space back there.

Something like this

or this

But if space won't allow it then it may end up in the engine bay like Tim did yours.

in the grand scheme of things that slight extra cost of hose is a drop in the bucket
