Wreck

So i got in a wreck the Wed after christmas an older gentleman pulled out in front of me and smashed my focus, the damage was almost 6k, and to total it its supposed to be like 7,500 or something like that so they are fixing it but we could have had it totalled, My question is should we have totalled it?

I think we should have cause they cars value is going to be less now since it has been in a wreck...(2002 ZTS)

YES, it will never drive like it did before. Plus the payoff could have got you one that was not in a wreck!

Hopefully you have a good mechanic who will get it working correctly

YES HE IS A VERY GOOD MECHANIC we have had work done by him before on 2 diff vechiles but the reason i wish we would have totalled it is because i have gap insurance and they would have paid the car off and i could have got something different that i like better thats faster

but insurance will pay for it, you dont really need a downpayment because it will be paid by someone else. talk to your parents and your insurance company.
