Priorities, I suppose. None of that makes the car perform better. It isn't worth the extra $4k. My trusty $60 Garmin is all I'd need.

Get that protection crap and the nitrogen taken off, or go to another dealer.

I feel for ya brother.

I am car poor. I have had 4 different cars in my garage in the last year between my wife and I. God only knows how many cars and motorcycles I've owned over the years.

I'm currently in a 3yr lease on my F-150 and while I love the truck, it's just too dang big for me. I don't haul or tow anything and use it mainly for commuting. I enjoy getting out and just driving, but at 15-17mpg, that's a costly hobby in the F-150. It does pretty well on the highway, I can get over 20mpg easy, but that big 5.0L sounds so good that you just want to feed it the juice.

I'm hoping to have someone take over the lease so I can pick up an ST. The lease payment on my truck is very reasonable for a $40k+ vehicle. I'm paying $415/mo and have 27 months left on the lease.

I've been tossing around the idea of just going with an ST1, but my motto of "buy the best and cry once" is telling me to go ST3 and have no regrets.

That interest rate! I just did a very similar trade 2012 SE for 2014 ST.

So here's the update guys. I bought a 2014 TS st2 with sunroof. I paid 26K with the roll in of my SE and 100k warranty. They gave me 14k for my 2014 SE, My interest rate ended up being 4.2%. All in all im much happier and my payment is only another 80 per month.

Sounds about the same as the deal I got. I'm surprised you only got 14k for the SE though, that's the same as what I got on my 2012 SE.

If I could I'll love to trade my 2013 S for a 2014 ST! But money is tight right now

I have a crummy credit history yet Ford still financed me with 1.9%. Try another dealer.

I don't think financing is the issue.
He'd still have higher payments.

ughh I hate reading these threads. 14k for a basically brand new SE??? Are these dealers serious? There is an 2012 SE with 24k miles on it being sold for 17k by a dealer here. I will never get rid of my SE that is just ridiculous.
