I only ordered the kit for the rears so the pricing was the same as in the original post. But mine had to be shipped to Houston from Dallas so shipping was another $8.

Thanks for the write up.

However, my problem is tha the parking brake lever/mechanism has seized and I cannot "pump" the caliper to slide out the piston and repair it. The piston itself is not seized as I've used the compression tool to compress it while doing the breaks.

Really don't know what to do with that lever wonder why is it seized if the piston itself is fine.

Did you screw the piston in to compress?

If that worked screwing it out to remove should work as well.

I did screw it in to compress so I guess you are correct =)

Wonder if I should use some penetrating oil and slowly hit it with a hammer to see if I can get it loose a little bit.

That c clip is a hassle! just did this today. I bought a long ste of picks and worked it out. You can also get some NEEDLE needle nose pliers, and custom grind them to fit. I think it would have taken me as long to fab the tool as it did to figure out how to finagle the clip out!
Also, I was going to blast and Powder coat mine, but Harbor Freight didn't have the blasting cabinet in stock. So they went back on au natural>

I'd just go down to Napa & get a reman caliper. Thats what I had to do last yr, cause one of the caliper slide bolts broke on the bracket.
