Nexen Tires SUCK

I get a very good deal at my local Ford Dealership, everything at cost. So for my 4 Nexen tires I paid $160 each.

BUT, 2 weeks after having them one of the tires blew a belt (manufacturer error) and I battled it out with Nexen for another 2 weeks to have it replaced for free and in the end they would only cover half the cost. The tire was very clearly still under there warranty and they were being complete dicks.

I will NEVER buy Nexen again,. and everyone I know I have told not to buy them, and I will continue telling anyone who asks about my tires not to buy them.

Nexen is a horrible company and the tires really are not tht great to begin with. I only got them because they were they cheapest ones in my size.

That was $160 each tire for the rubber, mounting, chrome valve stem, and install. $160 bucks is pretty fair I thought, considering I got quotes for almost twice as much from other shops.

Apparently I was wrong, I guess it is a contest ! I just put a set of Hankook Z-212 RS2's on the Focus and I think the falken 615's may have some competition in ST classes. I will know for sure after this weekends autoslalom at the airport.

The stock P6 tires that were on my ZX5 were about 3/4 worn and very noisy. The selling dealer offered me a new set of Sumitomo HTRZ tires for cheap dollars, so I went for it. Haven't had them long enough to tell a whole lot....but compared to the P6, the Sumitomo is very quiet. 205/50/16
