I've had Coopers on mine for a 1 1/2. Not too bad but they sucked in the winter. Going with Nitto's next I think.

If you check consumer reports, you'll find that tire models vary GREATLY within a brandname. You can get a goodyear that sucks or a goodyear that rocks. All depends on the model, not the brand.

I've used unknown Hankooks that came on the car when I bought it. I bought Falken Ziex ZE-512's, then Yokohama Avid H4S's, then went back to the ZE-512's for the superior winter traction. I advise not getting Avids if you drive in winter conditions. Their traction is quite poor on packed snow and ice. I had them on the minivan, too, but bought my first set of snow-tires because the Avids just weren't safe. Hope this helps.

Steet (and street spec) =falken 615's, it's not even a contest

R compound = Kumho Ecsta V710, but i still like a good set of RA-1's for all round weather

Winter = Nokian Hakkapeliitta 4, Just an amazing winter tire

BFG for sure. I worked at a tire shop and hands down compared to all the tires we dealt with BFG's lasted longer and handled wayyyyy better. Just my opinion though.

try the falken ze912, the new version of the ze512. either one and you won't be disappointed.
