Just put a set of Kumho ecsta spt on my 04 SVTF and I'm really happy with the results. I did alot of research on ultra high performance tires. I didn't want to spend as much as the stock conti's cost, but I still wanted good performance. I got both with the Kumho's...

Err... Cheap. Is that a good answer?
I just found out recently that cheap stays balanced just as long as "non-cheap". Next time I get rich, I'll look for something with minimum road noise though.

I like my Douglas brand from wal mart, they are cheap, and work just fine for me.

I have Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip tires on right now and I have to say they are amazing. Its the same tire that cop cars use! Everything about this tire on wet but esp dry pavement is awesome!

BFGoodrich g-Force sports. . . Awesome tire. Riding on these, I feel comfortable pushing it to the limit.

After the stock Firestones I went with Michelin Pilots. Great, especially in the heavy rain we get here in Hawaii. It's fun blowing the doors off other cars doing 90 when they're creepin' along trying not to slide or tip over. In fact just passed a flipped over truck on the H-2 freeway this afternoon and even made an emergency maneuver to avoid a commercial vehicle. No problem! Get's me where I need to go fast and safe!

STAY AWAY FROM PIRELLI P-6'S THEY SUCK BIG TIME IN SNOW.... they wear to fast and have started to really suck in the rain.. i only have 14K miles on mine and the 2 rear are already bald the two front are 3/4's worn only thing they are good for is burn outs

By Pirelli P-6 do you mean the Pirelli P6000's?
